Employability is at the core of UP’s Mission Rozgaar

Lucknow: To connect the youth with employment, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is organizing a job fair under Mission Rozgar. After organizing three job fairs so far in August, now its pace is going to increase further. The Yogi government is going to provide about 30 thousand employment opportunities by organizing employment fairs in four different districts within the next ten days.

Under this, employment fairs are proposed to be organized in Mainpuri on 27 August, Aligarh on 28 August, Mirzapur on 01 September and Moradabad on 02 September. Through these employment fairs, 1-1 thousand appointment letters will also be distributed in all the four districts.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath can be present as the chief guest in this program of employment fair and appointment letter distribution. It is noteworthy that the Yogi government had organized employment fairs in Ambedkarnagar on 17 August, Ayodhya on 18 August and Muzaffarnagar on 22 August, through which more than 17 thousand appointment letters were distributed.

Kapil Dev Agarwal, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Vocational Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship in the state government, said that through the employment fair, work is being done to connect the youth trained in various fields with employment.

In accordance with the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, employment opportunities are being provided to the youth by organizing large employment fairs in other districts as well. He said that the state government is organizing various activities to connect the trainees receiving training under the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission with employment after training. In this sequence, employment fairs are proposed in Mainpuri, Aligarh, Mirzapur and Moradabad.

Through this, about 30 thousand employment opportunities will be provided, while 4 thousand (one thousand in each district) appointment letters will be distributed. 50 reputed companies of the country are participating in each district, which will interview the youth and offer them jobs. Employment fairs will be organized at Narsingh Inter College in Karhal, Mainpuri and Gurukul Public School, Somna Road, Khair, Aligarh. Employment fairs will start at 9:00 am at both places. The venue will be decided soon in the remaining two districts.

The Yogi government had distributed more than 12 thousand appointment letters in Ayodhya and Ambedkarnagar through the employment fair organized so far in August, while about 5 thousand appointment letters were also distributed in Muzaffarnagar.

In total, the government has distributed 17 thousand appointment letters through three employment fairs organized in 6 days. Various companies participated in these employment fairs and jobs were offered to the youth in sectors like manufacturing, engineering, telecom, healthcare, construction and IT.

The goal of the Yogi government is to provide employment opportunities to the youth in private companies along with government jobs, for which various programs are being run by the government for skill development of the youth. The government plans to employ a large number of youth in private companies through these employment fairs in 2024.

It is the result of the efforts of the Yogi government that in seven and a half years, more than six and a half lakh youth have been given government jobs and more than 3.75 lakh youth have been linked to jobs through contract. At the same time, employment has been provided to two crore people under the private sector / MSME.

The Yogi government is constantly taking steps to provide employment to the youth. For this, programs are being organized by setting targets. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had said in the employment fair organized in Muzaffarnagar on August 22 that the state government will provide government jobs to two lakh youth in the next two years.

The Chief Minister said that the youth here will have to participate enthusiastically in the government jobs coming out in the state. It is the result of the efforts of the government that at present police recruitment examination is being organized for more than 60 thousand posts in the state, while there is a proposal to create jobs in many other departments.
